Freelance Graphic Designer/ Art Director, 1999 - present Creative Crisis Management...with experience in print design, collateral marketing materials, brand guidelines, evites, plus much more. In-house design support specifically for the outside field marketing team on B2B projects (primarily Fortune 1000 customers). Work directly with copywriters, design managers and creative director to create sales-generating, effective marketing pieces in a fast paced environment. Projects range from seasonal concepts and sell sheets, to trade show exhibits, marketing collateral, direct mail pieces, and evites.

Responsible for meeting all Commercial Operations North America (CONA) divisional marketing objectives, insured product integrity and program continuity as the primary point of contact to brand manager, fielding questions/special requests, and presenting creative solutions to ensure the creative is on target, on budget and effective and secure proper approvals.
• Graphic liaison to internal departments and outside vendors. Communicate with project originators & engineers to understand creative needs and strategic direction, and to insure effective concept development. Communicate and clarify project goals to designers.
• Daily communications including updates and schedules with marketing and package development engineers and program managers.
• Recommend and art directed outside resources, including illustrators, photographers, printers, etc.
• Created innovative design solutions for packaging and POP while working with engineering, to come up with printing alternatives and unique display solutions. Consult with selected vendors to develop cost savings and environmental advantages.
• Lead creative development for various high level launches for both Gillette and Oral-B products.
• Lead designers and set directional guidelines for the team to continue brand quality and consistency.

• Supervised in-house design group.
• Developed intuitive design concepts into branding and marketing campaigns as chief creative contact, through print and web design vehicles.
• Establish Design criteria, concept, layout, budget, print purchasing and scheduling, job tracking, and press approvals.
• Worked closely with web designers and MIS department to establish an overall design and map for our web site and intranet.
